Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Trench Canada. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and guidance to our business units, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and managing all corporate affairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Corporate Affairs: Manage all corporate affairs, including corporate governance, secretarial services, and company records.
  • Legal Training and Development: Design and deliver legal training to the business to ensure a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A university degree in law with a focus on contract or business law, and qualified to practice law in Canada.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of in-house experience, ideally at an industrial manufacturing company.
  • Skills: Fluency in English, high level of communication and facilitation skills, and intercultural competence.
