We are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Steeles Health Center. This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering tests, instructing patients on test procedures, and recording results under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists. They will also assess patients' physical abilities, assist healthcare professionals, and carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Acknowledge patient's general medical history.
  • Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Connect treatment machines to patients as directed by chiropractor.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Process files and paperwork.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
