This role is a key member of our corporate physiotherapy team, working collaboratively with the clinical services manager and other healthcare professionals to provide quality physiotherapy services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients to prepare them for timely and appropriate discharges
  • Work with patients, families, and team members to develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide education and consultation to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals as needed
  • Practice in accordance with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards of practice and code of ethics
Requirements
  • MSc or BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience providing physiotherapy in an inpatient adult physical medicine setting
  • Basic knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to general medical and surgical patients
  • Rostered for tracheal suctioning and oxygen titration is preferred
