Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart 1077. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prescription information and maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of prescription information, including client details and medication instructions
  • Enter client information into databases and manage inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to provide excellent customer service and support
  • Prepare medications for clients in accordance with pharmacy procedures
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products as required
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and inventory levels
RequirementsEducation and Experience

A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, is required for this position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications and Licenses

Pharmacy technician certification is a must-have for this role, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and professionalism in the industry.
