About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Dham Transport. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a well-organized and productive work environment.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure prompt response to inquiries.
  • Data Analysis: Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
  • Staff Support: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Correspondence and Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced office environment with a team of professionals.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Willingness to relocate for the right opportunity.
