Key Responsibilities
  • Client and Product Strategy: Develop and implement a client and product strategy to drive growth and revenue in the Financial Institutions and Corporate Coverage segment.

  • Deal Origination: Drive deal flow through personal relationships and introductions between our team and clients, leveraging your expertise in financial markets and products.

  • Special Projects: Conduct special sector studies and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Know Your Client document updates and other relevant matters.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to write succinctly and convincingly.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong financial accounting and corporate finance skillset, with mastery of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Industry Knowledge: 6-8 years of prior work experience in investment banking, corporate banking, corporate finance, transaction services, asset management, or consulting.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer-based research tools, such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Thomson Reuters.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
