About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at ATLAS Aéronautique inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to optimize performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality standards.
  • Assemble and fit components and machine parts to precise tolerances.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Machinist Trade Certification.
  • Experience with automatic lathes, boring machines, drill presses, and other equipment.
  • Knowledge of measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
