Job Opportunity: Civil Infrastructure Quality Manager

We seek a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Quality Manager to oversee quality control activities in our construction projects. The successful candidate will have the authority to stop work when necessary to ensure compliance with quality plans and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document the quality of construction work performed by our team, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring conformance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Verify that equipment is fit for purpose, properly calibrated, and maintained as required.
  • Identify and report non-compliant construction work and supplied products, reviewing and monitoring their disposition.
  • Control further processing, delivery, installation, or use of non-compliant work until unsatisfactory conditions are corrected.
  • Coordinate quality activities with our quality managers, inspectors, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure inspections and tests are performed according to approved plans and quality records are complete and accurate.
  • Review test packages and documentation prior to conducting inspections and testing.
  • Prepare and maintain quality records related to your assigned work.

Your Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil projects.
  • Preferably experience or understanding of transit or construction systems in Ontario.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS tools, document control, etc.
  • Experience leading standards audits and techniques.
