At BC LTD, we are seeking a skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our heavy equipment by performing routine lubrication tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine lubrication tasks on heavy equipment, including adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids.
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
  • Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators.
  • Provide on-site services to ensure our equipment is running at peak performance.
  • Repair and balance tires.
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.

Requirements:

  • 20/20 vision.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Overtime required.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling.
