Job Title: Stucco Plasterer

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at DeCicco Bros. Plastering & Stucco. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty and noisy conditions, and outdoors. Our work sites are located in various locations, including commercial and residential areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in the plastering industry
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
