Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Thai Basil Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food quality, prompt service, and an enjoyable dining experience to our customers.

Thai Basil Restaurant is a leading provider of authentic Thai cuisine in the heart of the city. We pride ourselves on serving delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, using traditional cooking methods passed down through generations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and porters;
- Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols;
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and maximum efficiency;
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery;
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally;
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen performance, including sales data, menu item popularity, and customer feedback;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry;
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
- Able to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a fast-paced environment;
- Familiarity with culinary genres and able to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation;
- Physically demanding, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary;
