Production Supervisor

San Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the operations of our wood products manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality wood products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management, including production statistics, quality control data, and safety incident reports.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal production levels and minimize downtime.
- Safety and Health: Oversee the safety and health of all employees in the wood products manufacturing department, including conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, to management.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal production levels.
- Maintenance and Repair: Set up and maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal production levels and minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers in the wood products manufacturing department, including providing guidance and training as needed.
- Productivity and Quality: Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, including implementing process improvements and providing feedback to employees.
- Work Site Environment: The work site environment is noisy and dusty.
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
