At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Data Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing specialized advice on a broad range of international income tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a broad range of tax planning matters pertaining to international cross-border transactions.
  • Identify and analyze the international tax considerations of proposed transactions, assess and quantify risks.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with stakeholders at all levels within CIBC to effectively manage the delivery of tax services.
  • Keep abreast of tax legislative and administrative developments in the area of international taxation, assess impact to CIBC and inform relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • CPA designation or a Bachelor of Laws degree.
  • At least 5 or more years of tax experience.
  • Completed CPA In-depth International Tax course or Master of Taxation.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to translate technical guidance into business terms and implications.
