Job Summary:

Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely processing of content claims, utilizing our claims handling methodology and content claims processing and pricing platform, exclaim.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite visits to meet adjusters/policyholders and conduct inventory of total loss contents.
  • Ensure consistent and quality/turnaround of all claims in accordance with company productivity and performance standards.
  • Work with support of other teams to organize/direct resources required for completing inventory and LKQ valuation of total loss contents.
  • Adhere to company commitment to timely and informative updates on content claims process to adjusters/policyholders.
  • Complete/submit detailed work/time logs daily for all claim tasks completed.
  • Maintain claim related notes in company platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling claim.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion/pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards.
  • Consistently promote company brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently in most circumstances, with minimal supervision.
  • Some prior background/experience in Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
  • Be able to provide adequate workspace, free of noise.
  • Employee must provide own high-speed internet service.
  • Company equipment including laptop will be provided. It is employee's responsibility to care and maintain equipment, as per policy.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Occasional Overnight travel may be required, any business-related expense would be covered by company.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
