The Headhunters Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Envelope Consultant to join our client's growing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects, conducting site assessments, and developing rehabilitation plans for building envelopes and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering and architectural teams.
- Site Assessments: Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate existing building structures and envelope systems, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Rehabilitation Planning: Develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans for building envelopes and structures, including design and analysis of building components and envelope systems.
- Design and Analysis: Design and analyze building components and envelope systems for upgrades and enhancements, producing comprehensive reports and studies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts and oversee construction, ensuring adherence to building science principles and restoration standards.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PEng) or Registered Architect (Architect AIBC)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience within the building science discipline, with a focus on building envelope systems and structural design.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and train staff, with a strong focus on team collaboration and communication.
