Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Developer to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and documenting improvements and new features.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions using C++, Java, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment with test-driven development and iterative releases.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, and SQL (MySQL preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading small development teams.
  • Refactoring abilities and understanding of refactoring tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of NANT, MSBUILD, Delphi, CruiseControl, SVN, or InstallAware.
