**About the Role**

The Comox Valley Campus of Island Health is seeking a full-time General Internal Medicine specialist to join our team. As a General Internist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Providing inpatient GIM coverage, including weeks of telemetry unit coverage
  • Participating in the medicine call schedule with a 1:9 frequency of night call
  • Engaging in an outpatient general internal medicine practice to support the growing need for internal medicine services in our community
  • Interpreting hospital-based ECGs, Holter monitors, and Exercise Stress tests
