Job Description

The BIM/Digital Coordinator will be part of the BIM Team and thus part of the Design Management project team. The BIM Team will manage BIM implementation during the design phase and will be also involved during the construction phase, supporting the Construction Technical Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and aggregate Design partners' and Trade subcontractors' BIM models, Maintaining up-to-date the BIM Federated Models for tunnels
  • Review 3D models elaborated by designers, subcontractors or other teams in terms of quality
  • Run visual and automated clash detection of aggregated BIM models (spatial coordination)
  • Communicate conflicts in model; both real and potential, producing 3D BIM coordination reports, Issues creation, bcf management
  • Develop and maintain BIM object library and design scripts libraries, as per Project BIM/CAD standards
  • Develop and maintain Project BIM models during the construction phase (if required), as per Project BIM/CAD standards
  • Incorporate field data into BIM model as per project Standards and Project BIM Uses. Generate As Built models using survey information
  • Provide BIM Navigation User trainings
  • Develop/Export CAD drawings, as per Project BIM/CAD standards (Generate drawings from Issue For Construction stage models, for construction team fit out team activities support)
  • Assist development of Cadets and Graduate Engineers
  • Participate in on-the-job development/training
  • Support, implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedures
Key Accountabilities:
  • BIM Coordination and monitoring of BIM deliverables production
  • BIM and Information Management methodology compliance
  • Compliance with Client and JV Construction requirements
