About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Innovative Facility Care Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Trash and Debris: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Wall Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Own transportation and willing to travel.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • Experience: Experience an asset.
