About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Innovative Facility Care Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Debris and Trash Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation, own vehicle, willing to travel, and travel expenses not paid by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
