About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Moving Helper to join our team at Brandon Moving & Storage, a business unit of Gardewine. As a Moving Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient relocation of our customers' household goods and office furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Load and unload household goods, including boxes and furniture, in a timely and safe manner.
  • Participate in the packing process, ensuring all items are properly secured and protected.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, keeping them informed of activities and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of our operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Prior experience loading and unloading household and office furniture.
  • Proven history of working in collaborative teams.
