Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wood Products Assembler to join our team at Vanair Design. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wood products according to specifications and quality standards
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products
  • Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution
  • Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
  • Mark defective parts or products for repair
  • Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 40 to 44 hours per week
Work Environment

Our work site environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. You will be working in a dusty and noisy environment, with a focus on manual dexterity and repetitive tasks.
