Job Title: Wood Product Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Wood Product Assembler to join our team at Vanair Design. As a Wood Product Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble wood products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings.
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution.
  • Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Mark defective parts or products for repair.
  • Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces as required.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a reliable team player.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 to 44 hours per week.
