Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Direct and motivate staff to achieve their full potential, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Policy Development: Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Recruitment: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies to enhance staff skills and knowledge, promoting career growth and advancement.
  • Employee Relations: Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts and agreements with employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Refugee Support: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disasters, providing a safe and welcoming work environment.
  • Visible Minority Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, promoting a fair and inclusive recruitment process.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
