Human Resources Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Chillibowl Lanes. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing staff, motivating employees, and planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage staff to achieve organizational goals
- Motivate and engage employees to improve productivity and job satisfaction
- Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs to support business objectives
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Plan and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
- Manage contracts and agreements with employees and external partners
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure fair and consistent evaluation
- Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Advise senior management on human resources matters and provide recommendations to improve organizational performance
- Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Additional Responsibilities:
- Recruit and support newcomers and refugees to integrate into the organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
- Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Environment:
- Permanent full-time position
- 30 hours per week
- English language required
