Credit Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Officer to join our Operations team at Aviso Wealth. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of retail credit for our IIROC full brokerage platform.
Key Responsibilities- Review and authorize cheques, EFTs, and wires based on risk management and AML regulations
- Daily monitoring of credit, registered debits, and margin accounts based on firm policy
- Review and approve internal/external transfers with credit-related ramifications
- Monitor daily security concentration levels
- Assist in capital and credit reporting
- Complete other assigned projects
- Post-secondary degree
- Completion of CSC is an asset
- A minimum of 2 years of credit experience with the securities industry
- Extremely detail-oriented and accurate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to meet changing needs and manage deadlines
- Customer-focused, ability to build and maintain relationships
- Fluent communication skills in English are required, and bilingual skills in French are an asset
