About the Role:
The Account Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving business growth and customer satisfaction. As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, working closely with them to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand customer relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing expert advice and guidance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage customer information and track sales performance
- Travel to customer sites as required, with estimated travel frequency of 3-4 nights per month
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Chemistry)
- Minimum 3 years of previous outside sales (B2B) and/or customer-facing experience
- Chemical sales experience is an asset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
