About the Role

Crop Intelligence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Business Agronomist to join our team in the South Saskatchewan region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow the awareness of our crop insights, subscriptions, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Collaborate with our vendors to set and execute sales goals, manage leads, and train customers on our insights and hardware.
  • Agronomic Expertise: Provide technical support to our customers, ensuring high-quality data collection and accurate insights.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with our vendors, customers, and collaborators to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Development: Provide feedback on new insights and hardware products to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in agronomy or a related field, CCA, and/or P.AG certification.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working directly with decision-makers on farms or at farm retailers/dealers.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for agronomy.
  • Work Environment: Remote work with 80% travel time, primarily day trips, to meet with customers, vendors, and collaborators.
