About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Technician to join our team at Englobe.

As an Environmental Technician, you will work closely with our Instrumentation team to perform Phased Environmental Site Assessments, including historical research, site inspections, and soil and groundwater sampling programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site inspections and collecting soil and groundwater samples;
  • Preparing field notes, data analysis, and evaluation;
  • Participating in technical report and proposal writing;
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships;
  • Applying and promoting Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A college diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or an environmental related field;
  • 2 years of experience as an environmental consultant in environmental drilling and test pitting, collection of soil and groundwater samples is an asset;
  • Understanding of and/or ability to learn technical laboratory and field-testing procedures required;
  • Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations would be an asset;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to complex topics and concepts, working independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently problem-solve, tackle new assignments, and multi-task in a busy work environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform detailed analysis in various software programs;
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain Security Clearance;
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for health and safety;
  • Attention to detail is a must for this position.
