Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to join our team as a Director of Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and growth of operational processes, structures and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage, develop and direct your team through regular 1on1s and goal-setting meetings
  • Ensure operations run smoothly and consistently
  • Lead the development and growth of operational processes, structures and systems
  • Identify challenges and collaborate to tackle them hands on
  • Ensure we are always on top of regulations and audits
  • Ensure our service teams provide an outstanding customer experience and high-quality on-time work
  • Ensure our facility and equipment are in good condition and well-maintained
  • Ensure a safety culture, safe working conditions and the growth of and adherence to safe practices

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A strong leader who can listen well and guide staff through any challenge
  • A proven ability to hold people accountable to process
  • A master at managing action items for yourself and your team
  • A critical thinker with the ability to brainstorm, create and execute
  • Understanding of billables, financial statements, expenses, assets and profitability
  • Experience in Lean methodologies (CME Lean Yellow or Green Belt an asset)
  • Strong computer skills, notably savvy in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with service or welding shops or light manufacturing

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
