Job Summary

As a Station Attendant with Air North, Yukon's Airline, you will be the friendly face of check-in, providing safe, efficient, and accurate handling of baggage and cargo. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of aircraft, equipment, and your fellow teammates.

This is an exciting, fast-paced, and time-critical role, right at the center of the action. A professional attitude and ability to work in a team environment are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading baggage and cargo
  • Equipment checks and fueling
  • Marshalling aircraft in and out
  • Ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and Air North safety regulations and policies
  • Regulatory submissions
Requirements
  • Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must successfully complete an initial ramp training program
  • Be physically fit (able to lift up to 75 pounds and able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, and climb repetitively)
  • Must have Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or show proof of right to work in Canada
  • Must be able to obtain and retain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) License
  • Prepared to work outside in all climatic conditions
  • Previous airline experience would be considered an asset
