Job Title: Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist - Senior

Arthur Grand Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist - Senior to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in health privacy and a proven track record of conducting complex privacy impact assessments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA) and its related requirements for Health Information Network Providers (HINP) and Electronic Service Providers (ESP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct privacy impact assessments on medium to high complexity projects
  • Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures, requirements or controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with PHIPA and related regulations
  • Provide expert advice on health privacy and data protection
  • Familiarity with OntarioMD EMR certification and EMR or HIS infrastructure, design, and data flows
  • Familiarity with Application Programming Interface (API) functionality and management
  • Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' health privacy experience conducting privacy impact assessments on medium to high complexity projects
  • Minimum 5 years' direct operational level privacy experience in a health sector and/or IT environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience developing privacy policies and procedures, requirements or controls
  • Familiarity with PHIPA and its related requirements for HINP and ESP
  • Familiarity with OntarioMD EMR certification and EMR or HIS infrastructure, design, and data flows
  • Familiarity with API functionality and management
  • Familiarity with PKI

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous Public Sector experience is an asset
