We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at SSP Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Environment: Restaurant, urban area, and bar settings.
