About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at 0985733 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage kitchen operations, making informed decisions to optimize efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
