Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountview Physiotherapy & Rehab Centre.

Job Summary:

The Medical Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This includes coordinating patient information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of events
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain a filing system
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry
  • Provide customer service and support to patients and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a medical administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
