Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Reddy's Your Independent Grocer. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for sale in our supermarket.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting carcasses, sides and quarters of meat to prepare them for sale
  • Preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrapping and packaging prepared meats
  • Removing bones from meat
  • Weighing meats for sale
  • Pricing meat products
  • Grinding meats
  • Preparing special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required; we provide on-the-job training
  • Fast-paced environment with combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically demanding with handling heavy loads
  • Hand-eye coordination
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on experience)
