Job Summary:

The Planning Manager is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for driving demand planning, supply planning, and production scheduling functions for Accoravillage. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, who can collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve outstanding customer delivery and optimize inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute demand, supply, and scheduling processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability.
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Manage short, medium, and long-term capacity plans to determine inventory, sourcing, and intercompany strategy by facility.
  • Establish inventory optimization strategies and monitor inventory levels for WIP and FG stock to minimize carrying costs and ensure product availability.
  • Optimize production schedules to drive manufacturing efficiency and customer service.
  • Foster close relationships with associated departments (Procurement, CS, Sales, Quality, Operations, and Finance) and represent the Planning function at key business meetings.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning, Forecasting, Scheduling, and/or S&OP in a fast-paced, high-volume, Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of working with people and problem resolution, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
