About the Role
CB2 is seeking a skilled Design Consultant to join our team in downtown Chicago. As a Design Consultant, you will work with customers to plan and design their spaces, delivering an exceptional experience through elevated designs and a deep understanding of the CB2 brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and customer satisfaction by providing expert design advice and creating personalized space plans.
- Stay up-to-date on current design trends and industry developments to ensure the highest level of service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Utilize design tools and technology to create moodboards, 2D floor plans, and product lists that meet customer needs.
- Lead one-on-one design consultations in-store, virtually, or via email, phone, and video conferencing.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in furniture sales, home decor design, or retail/customer service.
- Full-Time roles require open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Part-Time roles require availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.
