We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Wainwright Burger Baron & Twins Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
