About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Practice Leader to support interdisciplinary collaborative practice across disciplines and service locations. The successful candidate will provide leadership and mentorship on the development of clinical skill sets, working closely with the Provincial Manager – Intake Mental Health and Addictions Program.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy. The ideal candidate will have five years of recent/continuous job-related experience, with a strong background in clinical nursing practice and policy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and mentorship on the development of clinical skill sets
  • Support interdisciplinary collaborative practice across disciplines and service locations
  • Work closely with the Provincial Manager – Intake Mental Health and Addictions Program
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Five years of recent/continuous job-related experience
  • Strong background in clinical nursing practice and policy development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
