We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food preparation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.
- Health Benefits: Dental plan and health care plan.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
