Farm Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to join our team at Wolfe Farms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of our farm, including managing staff and volunteers, maintaining farm machinery and equipment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the farm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operation of the farm, including staff and volunteers
  • Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment
  • Ensure the farm is run in a safe and efficient manner
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a remote location and rural area
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and initiative
  • Organized and able to work independently
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
