As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, consulting with production supervisors to schedule production runs, and estimating the type and quantity of materials and labor required for production, construction, and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs
  • Estimate type and quantity of materials and labor required for production, construction, and other projects
  • Monitor production progress
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Keep track of shipments
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures
  • Review work order to determine job specifications
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Maintain financial and production records
  • Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers
  • Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
