About the RoleThis position is responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients with eye disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist ophthalmologists in performing diagnostic tests and procedures;
- Maintain accurate records of patient information;
- Operate medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently;
- Develop and maintain good relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A diploma or certificate in Ophthalmic Technology;
- Two years of recent experience in a related field;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to lift 25 kg and stand for long periods.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
