About the RoleThe Board of Directors meets regularly to discuss and make decisions on various matters affecting the organization. As a Board Director, you will be expected to attend these meetings, participate in discussions, and contribute your expertise and insights to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
- Participate in Board meetings and committees
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Represent the organization in various capacities
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Expertise in a relevant field, such as water and wastewater, infrastructure maintenance, or environmental science
- Strong governance and leadership skills
- Experience working with First Nations communities and organizations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
