We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Edo Japan St. Paul. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
- Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work well under pressure to meet the demands of our customers.
- Physical Capabilities: You must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Language: You must be fluent in English, as this is the primary language used in our kitchen.
- Hours: You will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed.
