Job Summary

Billing Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to lead our construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals.
Work Environment

The Construction Site Supervisor will work outdoors in a noisy, dusty environment at heights. Steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat are required.

Requirements
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively lead and instruct the team.
  • Organized and reliable to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic to maintain a positive working environment.
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Does not require Canadian work experience.
