Position Summary

At Northern Health Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team of mental health professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based psychological services to individuals, families, and groups. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to individuals with mental health issues, including anxiety, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university and registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. You will have a strong foundation in therapeutic, diagnostic, and consultation techniques, as well as experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health issues and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to individuals with mental health issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct research and evaluation activities to inform mental health services

Requirements:

- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- Strong foundation in therapeutic, diagnostic, and consultation techniques
- Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs
