Job Title: Media Planning Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planning Supervisor to join our team at Mindshare. As a Media Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall management of client activities, developing and executing media plans from conception to completion, and delegating tasks to the team to support plan development and execution.

Main Responsibilities:

* Responsible for overall management of client activities
* Develop, execute and present media plans from conception to completion
* Delegate appropriately to the team to support plan development and execution
* Examine and study synergies, targeted opportunities and new media opportunities
* Get deeply involved with the client in brainstorming sessions to achieve the set objectives with extraordinary solutions
* Ensure that media plans meet the client's objectives, are strategic and achieve efficiency objectives
* Present plan recommendations to client teams
* Responsible for all client finances, which includes but is not limited to: billing, ensuring billing discrepancies and issues are managed in a timely manner, client profitability, etc.
* Build and maintain a comprehensive media knowledge base and synthesize information into ideas
* Manage the progress reporting process to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines
* Liaise with internal implementation (Trading) teams to ensure the seamless integration of ideas into media plans, ensuring deliverables are aligned with the plan's overall strategies, deadlines are met and deadlines are met. programs/results are coordinated and presented holistically to the client
* Maintain contact with clients/manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide market information
* Supervision, training and development of staff and role as a positive role model with a strong work ethic and vigorous review of all work to ensure a high level of quality

Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in digital planning and direct client service
* Strong knowledge of the Canadian media landscape
* Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration or communications; OR equivalent professional experience
* Demonstrated skills in supervision, delegation and mentoring
* Working knowledge of syndication tools (DDS, Prisma, DCM, Sizmek, MOAT, DBM & Vividata etc.)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

* Mastery of traditional and digital media: TV, print, OOH, use of digital and social media, passion for emerging media, Google Analytics, Google Images, ability to carry out research on different subjects, etc.
* Interest in emerging technologies and the growing video ecosystem
