We are seeking an exceptional Senior Real Estate Manager to join our Restaurant Development Department in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in optimizing our real estate portfolio and driving business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will partner with our Construction Manager to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience, convenience, and relevance by optimizing our marketplace through new site development and existing real estate portfolio. This involves maximizing system profits, regional income, and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative Team approach to Development within the region.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic market plan for a defined territory, managing aggressive new store growth goals.
  • Maintain a strong market knowledge and understanding of coverage gaps, opportunities, trends, projected home/work/shop growth, competition, and other factors contributing to informed real estate decisions.
  • Lead a team of Area Real Estate Managers to identify potential sites for new restaurant development.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate agreements, partnering with the Real Estate Transaction Manager to optimize site development and internal approval processes.
  • Provide effective consulting and maintain effective working relationships with National & Regional leadership, Owner Operators, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of Commercial Real Estate experience, preferably in the Quick-Service-Restaurant sector, with solid negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and understand legal documents.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interface with management, staff, and external partners.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to escalate when assistance is needed in a timely manner.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience, plus additional benefits and rewards.
